Boomer

Born in the Darling River basin of Australia, Boomer showed a knack for adventure from the time he was a little joey. When he was barely out of his mother's pouch, he was off and hopping, leading his friends on fun escapades all over the neighborhood. When he got older, he moved to Sydney to help his uncle in the entertainment business. His uncle created wonderful, whimsical, fantastic inflatable play equipment with slides and everything and made Boomer his tester. If Boomer had fun, he knew everyone else would too. And boy, did Boomer have fun. In Sydney, Boomer made new friends who came from all over Australia – Larry the Platypus, Kara the Green Tree-frog, A.K. the Koala, and Phil the Crocodile.  Once again fun-loving, energetic Boomer led friends on exciting adventures. Boomer and friends decided that the whole world deserved to have as much fun as they did so that is how Boomerangs came to be. After all, one visit to Boomerangs and everyone wanted to come back!

Larry met Boomer in Sydney after a stopover in Tasmania. They were instantly "friends for life". Larry was born in Eastern Australia. He loves to swim. He is smart, loves to joke around and makes friends quickly. Boomer calls him his three-in-one friend because he has a tail like a beaver, bill like a duck and feet like an otter. Larry likes to see how things are constructed at Boomerangs. He especially likes bounce houses. His fave snack at Boomerangs is water, of course, and pizza, but he would add anchovies if they had them.

A.K. the Koala

A.K. was born in Cape York Peninsula, Australia. He learned to surf from his dad. He would climb trees to watch hid dad's every move. A.K.- is quiet, coordinated, loyal and independent. He likes to do fun things in a safe way. That's one of the things he likes about Boomerangs. Nice soft cushy places to land when trying to show off a surfer move.

Kara the Tree Frog

Kara loves to hop and bounce as much as Boomer. So naturally she loves Boomerangs! She was born in Queensland, Australia. Kara loves bright colors and dressing up. She loves wearing a big bow and tries to make it match flowers and other colors around her. Boomerangs is so colorful and happy, she's always happy there. She is artistic, helpful and sweet except when she sticks her tongue out, waaaaay out. But of course, that's usually just to lick the candy she loves at Boomerangs.

Little Joey

Boomer's little brother is never without a ball cap on his head. Joey is friendly, curious, bouncy and happy all the time. Who wouldn't be if he grew up at Boomerangs. Every birthday party and family gathering was a blast because Joey absolutely loves jumping, bouncing, sliding, even crawling. And the Baby Boomers area fits him just right. When he gets hungry, he can get his favorite crackers and milk. Then he is ready to go again - at least till naptime.

Phil the Crocodile

Phil was born in Northern Australia. He is confident, outgoing, smart and has a high IQ. Phil likes everything about Boomerangs. He likes to slide, compete, jump, and hang out with his friends. Phil likes to eat too. At Boomerangs, his favorite meal is a hot dog, juice and pretzels. Phil's a wrestler and the pretzels remind him of wrestling moves. Plus Phil likes to test his skills in the gaming area. It is mainly about doing his best, but he has to admit he likes to win prizes too.
